Insurance Coverage

Though most major insurance companies accept coverage for Dr. Collier’s surgical procedures because of his “In Network” status, insurance company approval for weight loss surgery isn’t always quick and easy and varies depending on the insurance company.

We offer as much help as you need to gather the necessary information that will help you get insurance coverage. What you need to provide for your insurance company may include a letter from a medical specialist and a letter of medical necessity from your primary care physician, who has deemed your obesity a serious health risk.

If your insurance company does preauthorize you for Lap-Band surgery or sleeve gastrectomy, you may still have to pay a deductible and co-insurance fee. We can help you figure out if those amounts fit within your financial means.

Private Payment

If you prefer to pay for your surgery out-of-pocket, we accept cash, cashier'ss check or major credit card on the day of your weight loss surgery.

Third Party Financing

You can also finance your weight loss surgery with help from a third party. Many medical loan providers offer financing for weight loss surgery, and the process of receiving financing may be faster than awaiting approval from your insurance company.
